Tyler Duncan

Tyler Duncan has design in his blood; He grew up surrounded by it and bred into it. Tyler’s father, Turner Duncan of DESIGN Duncan Miller Ullman, was a celebrated architectural designer and his mother, Mollie, was an artist. It was a natural progression that Tyler would pursue a creative path in his career. Tyler received his Master’s in Architecture from Texas Tech University and has been developing a strong career as a successful architectural designer in the 22 years since. Early in his career, Tyler gained invaluable experience and knowledge at various successful firms in the Dallas metroplex, including Looney & Associates and Duncan & Miller Design. During his time at both firms, Tyler practiced as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for designing the interior architecture for hotels and resorts the world over. Tyler eventually made the decision to take his diverse portfolio of experience and step out on his own. Duncan Design Group was founded in 2002 with only a handful of clients to work with. Since then, Tyler and his team have grown the firm to become one of the most successful restaurant and hotel design firms in Dallas. 2016 marks the 14th anniversary of Duncan Design Group and a milestone number of over 230 projects have been completed since its inception. Tyler is a visionary in his field, approaching each project with a client first approach. Tyler and his team employ a process that put’s each client at the forefront of the firm. Each and every project Duncan Design Group takes on has full involvement by a principal and is led by industry recognized designers and project managers. By putting the priorities of the clients at the forefront of his process, Tyler has developed relationships with the most successful restaurateurs and developers in Dallas and across the country.
